WA Modified Champion Q & A: Jeff Acton
After finishing third in the 2020/21 Championship then second in 2021/22 Championship, Jeff Acton was able to go one better again this season and win the WA Modified Championship.
With five final round appearances and an event win at Night Of Fire, Jeff Acton had a very consistent run at the Perth Motorplex. Jeff got involed in Motorsport starting racing speedway at the age of 16 in Street Stocks then Super Saloons. As well as crewing on Legend Cars, NASCAR. Hydro Boat racing, Sidecars and then Ski boats. We ask Jeff a few questions about his Championship Season.
Congratulations on winning your first WA Drag Racing Championships, What does it mean to you win the championship ?
Everything, we had a chance last year and came down to the second elimination of the last meeting so to take it out this year was our goal at the start of the season
What was the highlight of your season?
Winning 7 from 7 in round 6

What are you plans for next season?
We will be running my daughters car hopefully so will be concentrating on that
